The manuscript "A map of sensilla and neurons in the taste system of drosophila larvae" of our users Anna Rist and Andreas Thum was published in the Journal of Comparative Neurology;
DOI: 10.1002/cne.24308. Via volume electron microscopy / 3D image analysis and determination of the repertoire of receptore genes by analyzing different GAL4 [Name kursiv] driver lines they constructed a map of the terminal organ, in which the receptor genes are mapped to neurons of individual sensilla, suggesting them to act in contact chemosensation.
