Flow Cytometric Sorters at FlowKon
FlowKon currently hosts two high-speed BD FACSAria cell sorters supporting a wide range of cell sorting applications, e.g. selection of cell clones or sorting of rare populations for expansion or downstream analysis.
BD FACSAria™ IIIu
The BD FACSAria™ IIIu is a multicolor cell sorter, equipped with 4 lasers: blue (488 nm), yellow-green (561 nm), red (633 nm) and violet (405 nm) and 13 detectors to measure up to 12 colors simultaneously. The BD FACSAria™ IIIu sorter is able to sort up to four populations in parallel. For single cell sorts index sorting can be applied.

BD FACSAria™ III
The BD FACSAria™ III is a multicolor cell sorter, equipped with 5 lasers: blue (488 nm), yellow-green (561 nm), red (633 nm), violet (405 nm)* and near UV (375 nm)* and 17 detectors to measure up to 16 colors simultaneously. The BD FACSAria™ III sorter is able to sort up to four populations in parallel.
* It is possible to use either the 375 nm or the 405 nm laser, they are not running simultaneously. In principle, both lasers enable you to analyze similar dyes, however, the excitation of some dyes (e.g. DAPI) may be more efficient using the 375 nm laser.
