Research interests and research project
I am a plant ecologist, mainly interested in (1) plant invasion mechanisms, (2) urban plant diversity and distribution. After six years in a conservation biology lab at the National Museum of Natural History of Paris (France), I have joined the Ecology Lab for a two-year postdoc, to work on potential bias in the introduction history of alien ornamental plants, and their consequences on current naturalisation patterns. I am analysing the relationship between species characteristics (native range, climatic niche, habitat preference, life history traits...) and introduction history (when, and how much, species have been introduced). Then, I am trying to relate it to the establishment success and spread of species. To do that, I am handling several datasets from different parts of Europe.
