Aleksandra Kosanic

I am a physical geographer interested in how anthropogenic drivers (i.e. climate and land use change) affect the changes in geographical distribution of vegetation. My PhD research focused on the use of climatic and vegetation historical records in order to investigate climate change at the local/regional scales (West Cornwall) and to analyze its impact on vegetation. Currently, my focus is on an interdisciplinary approach to explore climate change impacts on multiple Ecosystem services, and society. I am interested in how the impacts will affect vulnerable communities (e.g. indigenous, disabled, elderly and youth).
