During my PhD study, I worked with biodiversity effect. I asked about the influence of co-evolutionary history between plants and between plants and soil microorganisms, on the biodiversity effect. I also investigated the role of plant-soil feedback effects in mediating the biodiversity effect.
I am also interested in evolutionary processes in plants. I currently focus on the local adaptation mechanisms in plants. In particular, I am using Arabidopsis species to establish recombinant inbred lines to answer the question through combined ecological and evolutionary approaches.
