Conference "Truth and Lies in Politics"

In an inter-university cooperation, the University of Konstanz, the Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg and the Sigmund Freud Private University Vienna acquired a conference grant from the Fitz Thyssen Foundation. The conference "Truth and Lies in Politics" took place in Vienna from March 29 to 31, 2023.

The first success for the cooperation of the three universities University of Konstanz, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and Sigmund Freud PrivatUniversität Wien was the acquisition of a conference grant from the Fritz Thyssen Foundation last year. This grant enabled the inter-university team of researchers to organize a conference on the topic of "Truth and Lies in Politics" and to invite top-class speakers from Europe and North America. 

The three-day conference took place from March 29 to 31 at the Sigmund Freud Private University in Vienna. In addition to exciting expert presentations, the focus of the conference was on cross-disciplinary discussions.
