International Women in Mathematics Day - Art Exhibition
We would like to invite everyone to celebrate the International Women in Mathematics Day with us! Experience a unique international art exhibition "Remember Maryam Mirzakhani" from 14th -30th of May 2024 in the University Library (next to Bib-Café).
On 14th of May at 12:00 in the University Library (next to Bib-Café) Prof. Dr. Isabell Otto, the Pro-Rector for Diversity and Career Development, will open the international art exhibition "Remember Maryam Mirzakhani".
The exhibition is an initiative of the Committee for Women in Mathematics of the International Mathematical Union, it consists of 18 orginal posters featuring work and life of Maryam. The curator of the exhibition is Thais Jordao and Rafael Meireles Barroso is the designer. The exhibition was shown in many countries of the world including Brasil, Canada, France, Iran, Italy, Sweden, Spain, Turkey and the USA.
